MEET CHANDRA JARRETT

Hi, my name is Chandra, and I'm the CEO of Sisters Strengthening Sisters. I began my first women's ministry, WOWW, in 2003, leading a book club. Our ministry offered hope and healing to hurting women.

WOWW was an acronym for Women of Worship and the Word, based on Titus 2:3-5. After years of trying to explain what WOWW stood for, the name was changed to Sisters Strengthening Sisters in 2020.

I began journaling to the Lord at the age of eight when my parents separated. I gave my life to Christ at the age thirteen as a birthday gift to me, believing my life would be perfect after baptism. I was naive and soon learned that life is never perfect.

I loved the Lord with all my heart, yet I suffered from the pain of sin, neglect, rejection, sexual abuse, and infidelity, to name a few thing. As the Lord began healing me, I launched into helping other women find hope and healing through God's word and the power of the Holy Spirit. 

Through coaching, conferences, and Bible studies, I encourage other women to do the same - Sisters Strengthening Sisters.
